This piece is about something being stolen with one person interrogating the other about it with a twist at the end which is not supposed to be taken very seriously.
In our micro task piece we looked to use the conventions of other teen comedies. This is because there is stereotypically lots of different types of groups in this genre, these groups include; The bully, The misfit, The ordinary guy/girl next door, The nerds and the spoilt posh one etc. We went with a mix of a misfit /outcast type of character that just wants to fit in.Typically teen comedies are known for their toilet humour etc. We tried to incorporate this into 3 separate scenes. They also typically seem to involve one person or a group of peoples everyday lives which we did using just the one character and his everyday traumas and struggles. The music used in teen comedies seem to be a little bit goofy. We didn't really do that and went against that convention instead opting for something with a slow beat. However to improve this piece of work I think it would be better for are media piece on the whole if we would have managed to find something a bit more goofy. So to conclude to this we did represent a social group being the type of people that do normal things but just cant quite seem to fit in for whatever that reason may be.
